Simple Spring Egg DIY

Sometimes, all I want to do is create. There is just something about making something out of, well, nothing that makes me feel refreshed. I also really wanted to make a few new decor pieces for spring and Easter. I did what most creators do, I headed to the Dollar Store and found these three wooden eggs. To be honest they only had three left on the rack, but I’m ok with that.

My favorite accent color this year is sage green. I’ve been loving it for a little while now, and I’ve noticed the color is really picking up speed in the trend department which just an added bonus. But I love soothing colors in my home so that is what I gravitate too. This year spring will be sage and tan.

Adding a little something unexpected when you create is a great way to take your projects up a notch. I picked out this cute sage and gray cotton fabric to do just that. I think it’s perfect. The only thing left to do is embellish each of these cute little eggs, I need to add some personality to them.

I already had all the embellishments in my craft supply and I have to tell you, that was my favorite part. Picking out the designs for each. What do you think? Can you guess which one is my favorite? Wait, am I allowed to have a favorite? Hmmm.

  1. I absolutely love your unique way of decorating, I hope you realize how much you do help me! I love…

  2. God is surely using you!!!! Youare sooo talented in what you do and I thank you for making our church…

  3. Wow that is just amazing I remember this so well pot luck dinners fundraisers youth events Sunday school vacation Bible…
